LG's School Paper

One voice that captures this reality comes from LG from Ohio., a 16-year-old student who now dreams of becoming an immigration attorney. In a school paper, she expressed not only the pain of living “in the space between” but also her determination to fight for those children who must face immigration court alone:

“One day I will stand up to the court of law, fight for their freedom, help the children who stand alone, representing themselves in court… I am both because I fall into that space between.”
